Susan Jelus

Susan Jelus is a retired writer/developer of training materials, marketing communications, audio and video scripts, and technical and science manuals. Susan earned a B.A. in Writing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and attended graduate school in Special Education at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio in 2002-2004.  She is an advocate for the healing power of the arts and teaches guitar, ukulele, and mountain dulcimer. She also dabbles in watercolor painting, nature photography, poetry, and fiction writing.

Susan is working to develop grants and other resources to support adoptive families. She is passionate about raising awareness and funds for mental health, the environment, and the well-being of women and children.  She lives in Cache Valley, Utah where she hikes, produces folk concerts, tinkers with musical instruments, and works for social justice.
